We are a small charity that helps animals in desperate urgent need. The economic crisis in Egypt is horrific, we are seeing an unprecedented increase in animals being dumped.

We are being contacted at a record level.
Animals that were once beloved family members are now suffering with broken limbs, cut ears or legs ( usually by bored children) or just left to stave.
Fears that pets can transmit COVID-19 virus, hyper inflation and a 400% (!) increase of the costs of petfood have led many owners to abandon their animals. Pets have also been thrown out on the streets after their owners passed away or have gone into hospital. They are routinely poisoned and the average pet owner in Egypt will not neuter. So the Egyptian streets are full of animals trying to survive the culture of negligence, ignorance and an uneducated population. Of course there are some truly wonderful people in Egypt who will try and help but this isn't the majority unfortunately.

We rely entirely on charitable donations like yours to fund our work. Please consider sponsorship, even a small amount helps. Or contact us to volunteer. You can visit with prior arrangement so we can greet you, you can help the rescue by just giving the animals love and attention. Many find it hard to settle as they are not used to being in a shelter.
We also need volunteers that can help with admin, marketing and fundraising. If you can help us in anyway please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you. We are waiting!
